Ethio-UK Business Forum Held in London

Addis Ababa Ethiopia-United Kingdom business forum targeting to promote investment opportunities held in London this week, according to a statement from Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Special Advisor to the Prime Minister, Arkebe Oqubay who led a delegation consists of 30 companies has briefed investment opportunities and incentives providing by Ethiopia.

Arkebe said since Ethiopia shares huge national, regional and international markets, investors who engaged in Ethiopia are beneficiaries.

He pointed out that the recent reform undertaking by the government will create more conducive environment.

Arkebe has urged UK business communities to engage in textile, leather products, agro-processing, mines and energy and other manufacturing sectors.

He further added that Ethiopia has been striving to be top investment destination in Africa by 2025. Ethiopias foreign direct investment (FDI) has been increasing since 2012.
