U.S. ‘Committed to Help Business in Ethiopia’

United States of America is committed to support Africa’s integration into world economy, Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker said.

At the conclusion of her two-day visit to Ethiopia, Pritzker said “Africa is proving economic success, good story to the world and U.S. aspires to support African economic growth”.

Describing Ethiopia as “one of the world’s fastest growing economies”, she also expressed her governments commitment to help businesses in Ethiopia and other African markets.

According to Pritzker United States “will endeavor to find partners for American companies, work to navigate regulatory hurdles”, and support the developments that will help Africa thrive.

She also indicated that International Trade Administration, a wing of the U.S. Department of Commerce, will double its presence in Africa Washington plans to open new commercial service offices in Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, Morocco, Libya, Mozambique ,and Angola.
